How to Install Opera Browser on CentOS 7 / RHEL 7

Add Opera Browser Repository

First, import the public GPG key of the Opera browser.

rpm --import https://rpm.opera.com/rpmrepo.key

Add Opera browser repository to the system.

Install Opera Browser on CentOS 7

Install the Opera browser using the yum command.

yum -y install opera-stable

Want to try Opera beta, install it with the below command.

yum -y install opera-beta

Launch Opera Browser

You can launch Opera browser as a regular user (can not run as the root user) by going to Application >> Internet >> Opera.

Start Opera Browser on CentOS 7

$ opera

$ opera-beta
