Install Mozilla Firefox 20 on Linux Mint 13 / Linux Mint 14

Firefox 20 has been already out and it is available for Linux Mint 14 via ppa repository. Source code is available in over 70 languages which includes fully localized and testing localized version.

Here is the tutorial about installing Firefox 20 on Linux Mint 14.

Step 1: Open Terminal (Ctrl + Alt + T).

Step 2: Update repository.

raj@itzgeek~/$ sudo apt-get update

Step 3: Install Firefox.

raj@itzgeek~/$ sudo apt-get install firefox

Step 4: Start Firefox.

raj@itzgeek~/$ firefox

Confirm the Firefox version by going to Help —–> About Firefox.

    I know this isnt’ a recent post, but wanted to say thanks! I’m a brand new to Linux and downloaded Mint 13 yesterday. I couldn’t figure out how to update Firefox for the life of me. This was SO simple–I really appreciate you sharing this!
