Adobe flash player is the most widely used application for accessing the flash content on web, flash player supports multi operating system such as Windows,Linux and Mac. You can find adobe flash player on every single PC, it is required by almost all websites. Here is the step by step installation of Adobe flash player on Fedora 16 “Verne”.
Step 1: Download the Flash player from Adobe. Remember to download YUM for Linux package,that helps us to install Flash player via YUM.
Step 2: Once clicked on download, it will ask you for open or save the adobe repository rpm.If you want to install directly without saving rpm, choose open with installer and install it (Go to step 4 directly).
Step 4: Open Terminal (Accessories —–> System Tools —-> Terminal ). Switch to root user.

Step 3: If you have saved rpm, this is the step for installing rpm.
[root@fedora ~]# rmp -Uvh /home/geeksite/Downloads/adobe-release-i386-1.0-1.noarch.rpm
Step 5: Install adobe flash player.
[root@fedora Downloads]# yum install flash-plugin
